This was fun making a little box. I just love the red, white and blue colors. It shows how we honor our country! Stop over at and visit Queen Sandra to see the great project she shared with us !
Supplies Used
Sizzix Box with flap
Chipboard and red/white/blue paper
Ribbon: red/white stripe
Buttons: blue
Cutouts: black lighthouse, white seagulls, I used the tech that Alex shared with the chalking
Thank you Alex, it does bring life to your projects!

  1. What size box is this? Is it like a Crayon box? Great job! Thanks for playing in paper with us at Paper Playtime! :) Janis

  2. Janis, yes it is the size of crayon box. It cuts really easy, I have the cuddlebug. I used chipboard but am going to try it with tagboard, won't be quite as stiff. Thanks for stopping by...

  3. I don't have a Cuddlebug. So this is a die you put through the Cuddlebug and it cuts it in the shape of a crayon box? That's totally cool!

  4. Hi, it is a sizzix die cut. A bit pricy $39.99. If you were interested in having some of them cut out I would do that for you, just let me know.

  5. Ooooo, I would love for you to cut some out for me. Is there anything you want in trade? Email me at :)

  6. What an awesome box!! Love the red, white and blue, too!! :)

  7. This is such a cool idea! That patterned paper is great!
